Volunteering & Youth Services

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the American Red Cross;
trained, dedicated people who help their neighbors prevent, prepare for and cope with emergencies. At the Jersey Coast Chapter, our volunteer base encompasses a broad array of people of all ages and backgrounds with one very important common bond-the desire to help. Whether teaching health & safety/disaster classes, providing administrative support, responding to local disasters, assisting our military men and women and their families, or donating blood, our volunteers unselfishly give of their time and talents to insure that we at the Jersey Coast Chapter can meet the needs of our community members But disaster response isn't all we do. There are so many ways you can help save lives. Be a hero and get involved!

  • To volunteer please do our self assessment first. This will help you decide if the Red Cross is a good fit for you.
  • Next fill out our volunteer inquiry form online or call the following numbers: Adult Applicants: 732-493-9100 ext.1249; Youth Applicants: 732-493-9100 ext.1230
  • Once you've filled out our online inquiry form we will contact you to schedule an interview to determine your interest.
